FREE PARKING & SHUTTLE SERVICE – ATTENDEES

NO NEED TO DRIVE AROUND LOOKING FOR PARKING AND WALKING A LONG DISTANCE

 

We are expecting a large amount of attendees this year and the Greater Dayton RTA and Sinclair Community College have come together to help us out. 

  1. We will be offering free parking and shuttle service in three Sinclair lots – B, E and K starting at 2:45 pm, last bus out at 6:30 pm

  2. Look for the EVENT PARKING SIGNS and make your way to one of the lots. 

  3. Park for free. 

  4. The shuttle will PICK UP and DROP OFF  at each lot for the duration of the event, continuously. 

  5. See map below. 

 

FREE PARKING FOR RESOURCES – CITY GARAGE ON THIRD

Unloading and Parking Information

WE HAVE 50 RESOURCES, OVER 100 VOLUNTEERS AND OVER 2500 ATTENDEES; we need to reserve the parking around the square for attendees. 

 

We are expecting a large amount of attendees this year and the City of Dayton has offered to help us out. 

All volunteers and resources will park in the City Garage located at 123 W. Third Street (next to City Hall) 

NOTE!!!!

 

THE SQUARE IS WINDY AND IT IS CONCRETE. 

YOU MUST WEIGH DOWN YOUR CANOPY WITH WEIGHTS, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE STAKES. 

BRING ROCKS OR WEIGHTS TO WEIGH DOWN ALL YOUR MATERIALS.  

 

RESOURCES THAT NEED CURBSIDE UNLOADING  

  1. Drive up to the Main Street entrance for curbside / sidewalk Resource Check In.

  2. You will receive instructions at that time on where to unload. 

  3. FOA volunteers will help you unload your materials. Please pack smart for quick unload. 

  4. Drive to the parking garage.

  5. You will receive a parking voucher from a volunteer stationed at the garage. 

  6. Please keep this for payment when you leave the lot. 

  7. Walk to the square.

  8. FOA volunteer will meet you at Third Street entrance and take you to your table, where your materials will be waiting for you. 

  9. Canopy set-up help will be available if needed. 

 

RESOURCES THAT GO DIRECTLY TO THE LOT BEFORE STOPPING AT THE SQUARE

  1. Resources that do not have many materials can drive directly to the garage.

  2. You will receive a parking voucher from a volunteer stationed at the garage. 

  3. Please keep this for payment when you leave the lot. 

  4. Walk to the square

  5. You MUST go to the RESOURCE CHECK IN Table near Main Street entrance if you are not met by a volunteer at the Third Street entrance first. 

  6. After Check-in, an FOA volunteer will take you and your materials to your table. 

  7. Canopy set-up help will be available if needed.

  3. Walk to the square and connect with your area leader immediately. 

VOLUNTEERS THAT NEED TO UNLOAD MATERIALS ONTO THE SQUARE FIRST 

  1. Drive onto the square sidewalk from Main Street entrance only for unloading and Check In.

  2. Please pack smart for quick unload. 

  3. Drive to the parking garage.

  4. You will receive a parking voucher from a volunteer stationed at the garage. 

  5. Walk to the square and connect with your area leader immediately.
