The FOA Rally goal is to unite the people and resources of the Miami Valley together to:
Raise awareness about substance use disorders
Eliminate the stigma associated with addiction
Celebrate and show that recovery is possible and that it works

ANYONE whose life has been touched by addiction should attend and be a part of history in the making!
FAMILIES, FRIENDS, INDIVIDUALS SEEKING AND THOSE IN LONG-TERM RECOVERY...We need your face & voice to be heard and seen to eliminate the stigma of addiction and show that there is strength in numbers. Join us In a show of solidarity and collective force in the Miami Valley! Together we can make a difference for the 22 million Americans with addiction, stand up for the 23 million more in recovery, and urgently act to save the 350 lives lost each day.

Please register below to show your area of interest, receive updates on details and get plugged in.
Please state amount of time you would like to volunteer for and if you are interested in set up and/or tear down in the ADDITONAL INFO area.
We need volunteers for the following areas (your interest) on the day of the rally:
Help at any of our tables (main, balloon, raffle, water, canvas of hope etc.)
Set up (arrive at noon)
Tear down (starts at 5:30)
Greeters (pass out agendas, lead attendees to balloon table)
BIG Picture event (help gathering attendees together and in place for the BIG picture)
Balloon Launch event (direct attendees to balloon table and explain process)

The Miami Valley has many valuable support services for families and individuals. The FOA rally is a great place to let our community know how you help and that you support our mission.
Please register below to reserve your space and receive updates on details.
Participation is FREE to organizations that will not take in any sales
A fee of $25 is required in advance for organizations that will take in sales (subject to FOA board approval)
One table and two chairs will be supplied (bring your own canopies and be sure to weight it down - ground is concrete, no grass)
Bottled water will be available free of charge for table participants
Temporary loading and unloading is permitted from vehicle on the square – vehicle must be moved to street for parking
Sponsors receive prime table location, first come, first serve thereafter
Resource table participants must be set up and ready no later than 2 pm
Electric available in some of the locations – note this in the "Additional Info"box on the form below. Bring extension cord

September is National Recovery Month with many various recovey related events. In fact, the day after our rally is Overdose Prevention Day. Every September, SAMHSA sponsors Recovery Month to increase awareness and understanding of mental and substance use issues and celebrate the people who recover. The following is a list of several events that will have a significant impact on our communites concerning addiction awareness and recovery.
